Jekyll is weak as he wants to separate the bad and good side which is within everyone

he has many letters after his name meaning that he has many degrees
At the end
he wishes his reputation to be protected
he understands that it is not completely possible but would prefer it
Utterson informs him about his reputation- he has already though about it
shows that he cares a lot about his reputations
Behavior
his behavior gets worrying over time
shuts himself away
stops holding dinner parties
at one point he got really ill
starts changing into Hyde without taking that potion
Hyde is getting stronger
Jekyll is getting weaker
calls Lanyon
kills him
Hyde is taking over his action and thoughts
has to take more potion to turn back
relationship with Hyde
Hyde starts off weak
seen in his body
'pale and dwarfish
Jekyll feels like he is Hyde's father
Hyde acts like a child
he is disgusted by Hyde's actions

shows Hyde is stronger
