it is infinite
it justifies itself
it concentrates

Policies&Research
In other to make change happen, you need to conduct research on what the problem is and be able to convince enough people to see that it is a problem and want to help you solve it
This is where research comes into play with figuring out what can be done about the problem we have recognized exists and what has been done in the past.
Policy also comes into play here because it is the policies that are in existence that are the problem sometimes
People in authority only have so much power because we give it to them. In order to make change happen, we need to take back some of the power for ourselves.
It is harder to change a policy than it is to undertake a project. People in authority rather have a quick fix to things than to change the status quo.
There is strength in numbers.

Persistence, dedication, and perseverance are key traits to have in macro practice if you want to get things done and make changes.
Our actions affects the society more than we know.
According to Lu, "society becomes how we behave"
The concept of reciprocal giving is key to the work we do as social workers because it encourages or initiates the boomerang effect with our clients, and the society as a whole
Advocacy is also a huge part of macro practice because a lot of the change-making process involves us fighting/advocating for our clients
The system is set up to be favorable to some and not to others. This is why macro practice is important.
