going back to early 1800's when different
ethnicities settled in different regions, like NYC,
where immigrants are the ones who built NYC's buildings
and high off the ground structures..
More job experiences, better money for the jobs they are doing(although US still dosnt pay a lot to immigrants)
Immigrants also want better for their family, children, etc there are better and more educational experiences and also outcomes here in the United States.(elementary, middle, high school snd college available)
Breaking stereotypes that are totally false about Immigrants especially ones that have come from anti-immigrant ex president Donald Trump
Donald Trump is known for creating false stories about immigrants calling them "lazy, criminals, job stealers, economy decreases, stealing United States money"
Immigrants are the ones running from the violence, not creating the violence
They have to risk their lives to get to the United States in the first place , just to be undervalued, and underpaid as well and face many discriminations
Takes years to enter legally, all the documents and paper , especially if you dont speak English . immigrants are then forced to enter illegally

To insist on only negative stories, those in power are attempting to dehumanize migrants and encourage Americans to believe that migrants are in no way similar to them. These views are extremely dangerous and can result in violence against an entire group of people.
will encourage more people to not buy into a single story told about others. And in doing so, recognize that all people are informed and shaped by many stories. This is needed always, but especially in current times.
