Was first developed in 1895 in New Orleans and by 1929 white musicians started playing jazz and were broadcasted on radio. This was the first time Black and/or female musicians became famous, although it was condemned by the KKK and was only predominant in Chicago, New York and Philidelphia

New goods were being invented rapidly and 85% of people had access to electricity because more people lived in urban areas.
Credit
Credit was introduced by banks to improve sales of cars and introduced the idea of immediate purchase which could be paid back later
Tarrifs
Tariffs were imposed on imported goods to encourage the purchase of local products - these are known as 'protective tariffs'
Assembly Line
Henry Ford introduced the concept of an assembly line in 1913, which provided more jobs, reduced assembly time and lowered costs
