Learning activities
Five Principles to choose learning activities:
Trainees must be given the opportunity to gain experience in the field f behavioural
Principle learning activity must not only achieve training objectives but also satisfies the trainees or fulfill the participants need
Principle learning activity must be suited to the ability, interest and trainees culture
Training activity must be based on criteria and effective learning theories
Learning activity which is effective must be able to fulfil a few training objectives
Establishing Training Content
Training content represent all subjects that have to be learned by trainees to achieve the training objective
Information category
Content of training can be divided in three information categories which are :
subject that are essential
Peripheral information
Related information
Lesson Plan
Shows the subject that need to be taught by the trainer, the arrangement of activities and the materials that to be used in the learning process
This plan can ensure the consistency of the training
Sequencing information
Few strategies on arranging information are
Abstract to concrete
The presentation of familiar subject to new subject
Simple to complex subject
Staff, material and equipment
Contained information regarding the requirement od the training program
Can also become a checklist
select staff based in their expert
Time
Every learning activity must be allocated with sufficient time
Allocation time must cover time for :
Prepare teaching equipment
shift from one learning activity to another activity
Impart knowldge and skilss
