The égalité of Liberté, égalité, fraternité, egalitarianism is a core principle of liberalism as well as many other philosophies of the great enlightenment. It is the belief of equality for all. Examples of egalitarianism in liberalism include the aforementioned French revolutionary motto "Liberté, égalité, fraternité" or this line from the American constitution "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal".
