Orlando (the film) is, I believe, more closely linked to presentation of the self and time, than the novel is linked to formal features. The Orlando in the film is reliant on appearance more than Orlando in the novel internalises her changes -- this makes sense, according to the media of the piece, but I find that this was more distinctive in the film by far. Orlando the film is also linked to relationships, as there is a familial relationship explored, as well as time and gender, keeping with the original novel's changes in time and gender fluidity,
