Thesis
I argue the attitudes to nature that are embedded in our political and economic system centre around our ability to control and harness nature for profit, instead of acknowledging nature's inherent value. This represents challenges to climate justice today because the economy now controls society
Write a letter to a newly-elected political representative (Member of Parliament or Member of the Legislative Assembly), drawing on course material to develop an argument for what their priorities should be in their elected position, and what they should keep in mind as they pursue these priorities. Support your argument with textual references

What is not guaranteed however is that this transition will be just for everyone, this is what I believe your responsibility is right now as a member of the government. Recognizing Indigenous laws, economies and ways of knowing as legitimate
The current definition the government has of consultation is not good enough, because it frames indigenous communities and ways of living under canadian law only, in european terms. If this definition is not changed you will continue to have these issues
