Encouraging the promotion of Creative Arts at IGCSE for pupils to continue their course at IB level for department growth.
Creative Careers evening/day. Source local artists, actors or international artist to come and speak to pupils about studing arts and career potential/benefits it possesses.

Preparing pupils for IGCSE through the teaching of core skills and topics at KS3 so they have the acquired knowledge and understanding to strive at IGCSE.
Introducing an Arts Journal as part of the MYP that students keep for all arts subjects in one to map out their arts journey at the end of KS3

Pastoral Care
How the arts can be used to highly pastoral issues. e.g. Drama role-play and empathy. Working with the head of pastoral to help with the curriculum development.

Service Learning
Finding ways to bring arts activities into the wider community. This could be done through community arts projects. Developing on ideas that were started in 2019.
Global Citizenship unit: get involved in local, global and national communities.
