It is highly likely
That I will know people that will be good contacts for you

who also have a pay-it-forward attitude
They will realise that once trust has been established
You are willing to introduce them to relevant others
In other words you are not looking for a a transaction from them
In other words you are willing help them meet others because that way you establish trust with them
Why wouldn't they want to connect with you?
Beyond LinkedIn
(Face-to-face on Zoom)?
If your profile doesn't have words to this effect
What will those you reach out to presume?
Let's say a lawyer on LinkedIn reached out to you
And you have no need to connect with a lawyer
Why would you connect with them?
What if, on the other hand,
this lawyer reached out saying she has a strong commercial network which she thinks could be of value to you?
