An example in football could be for the performer to score 2 goals
Performance goals allow the athlete to focus in on details of the performance, not just winning and losing.
Outcome goals
Goals set that focus on the end result of a match, season or time period
An example of this could be to win the next 5 matches or win the next match
Or a youth rugby player may aim to be selected for a regional team before the end of the season
