A four-year-old boy who has esophageal atresia with two failed surgeries to correct the problem. The child has recently undergone a third surgery that has seemed to correct the issue. He has refused to even attempt to eat and gags when presented with food. He also is lacking in social, play, and fine motor skills needed to attend kindergarten the following year.

Symptoms

Prognosis
Type B and D are the most rare and have the highest rate of complications (Esophageal Atresia, 2017)
