The Scope of Formation
- the scope of work referred to the work that is expected to be performed under the contract
- it may be prepared by the client or consultant and included in tender documentation for construction works
- the scope of work may be different for every project
- some project have broad description of the work required and some have a complete description of the project
- useful way of agreeing broad project requirements for both client and supplier
- things need to be clearly justify to avoid disputes on construction project
- it is common for any changes in the scope of work after the contract has been awarded. The variations must not change the nature of works
