Symptoms-Sudden/unexpected shock and fear leads to anxiety, sadness, constant depressed look, crying from time to time, anger, aggressive behaviour, fear of strangers, or situations (clingy, avoiding, crying), replays trauma through play or artwork, more alert (easily startled, very aware of danger), body complaints (stomach aches, headaches, aches and pains), loss of sleep, appetite resulting into malnutrition, frightening dreams related to the traumatic event, negative view of the world (thinks world is dangerous) etc.
