Definition of the layers
Mesosphere: Water vapour is someties present in this layer and it can be seen from Earth as thin as clouds of ice crystals. Mny meteors entering the Atmosphere burn up in this layer.
Termosphere: Aurora borealis occur here. Aurora borealis are formed when electrically charged particles from the sun collide with particles iin the inosphere, producing multicolored lights. (temperature 2000ºC)
Stratosphere: Contains the Ozone layer, ozone is created when radition from the sun splits two-atom oxygen molecules into separate atoms the combine with other two atoms molecules, to form a three atom molecule, the layer acts as a shield from ultraviolet radiation from the sun.
Exosphere: The exosphere is the outermost layer of earth's atmosphere the most common gases within earth's exospere are hydrogen and helium
Troposphere: Is the layer of the earth where we live. It contains the 75% of the total mass of the atmosphere air cools between 3.5-6.5ºC for each km above sea level.
