HOW THE CULTURE COULD INFLUENCE THE DEVELOPMENT OF ADOLESCENTS
NEGATIVE CULTURE
:red_cross:
'Lepak' Culture
At one spot in a commercial area, though, packed with vehicles and people, the noise and hubbub of the day continues.
Careless about the hour, about 50 diners, mostly groups of youth, are enjoying a late night meal at a mamak restaurant.
One group plays a mobile phone game while another sits shrouded in clouds formed by vape and shisha.
'Rempit' Culture
an individual who participates in activities such as illegal street racing, bike stunt performance, petty crime and public disturbance using a motorcycle
I would probably often race or perform stunts without proper safety gear and properly-equipped bikes, which often lead to accidents, causing major injuries or death.
Appearance Culture
The culture in which we are surrounded by has a significant impact on how we feel about ourselves and the manner in which we think about our body.
It can also influence the negative body image and self-esteem to myself.
Procrastination Culture
It usually happens when people fear or dread, or have anxiety about, the important task awaiting them.
To get rid of this negative feeling, people procrastinate
I will open up a video game or any social medias instead. That makes me feel better temporarily, but unfortunately, reality comes back to bite myself in the end.
Bullying Culture
Bullying is the use of force, coercion, hurtful teasing or threat, to abuse, aggressively dominate or intimidate.
I will bully the other people just to make others idolize me and impressed of me. So in that caase, I will feel high and undefeatable.
Suicide Culture
In Japan, suicide is considered as a major social issue.
Depression can make people feel great emotional pain and loss of hope, making them unable to see another way to relieve the pain other than ending their own life.
Most people make the decision to attempt suicide shortly before doing so impulsively rather than planning it out extensively.
POSITIVE CULTURE

Reading Culture
Where a reading culture exists, children read of their own free will, on a regular basis.
Students select their own reading material, at a time and place of their choosing.
To develop a reading culture, parents must consciously stimulate children in that direction, provide them books and importantly, let them read for fun,
Possible self : I will create a reading space that is comfortable enough for me to read and have my own small library section.
Gotong-royong Culture
a work that helps each other. means shoulder to shoulder in carrying out activities that aim to build a comprehensive benefit,
sharing of burdens between the member of community
I will join the gotong-royong activity because we will hold the same responsibility and do the same thing, which means to provide help to someone in need.
Greeting Culture
A handshake is the most common greeting when meeting someone for the first time or in professional settings.
Handshakes should be firm and accompanied with direct eye contact throughout the greeting, especially in business contexts
I will greet with anyone that are older than me and bow to them a little bit to show my respect. It will also give a good example to the others .
Cleanlines culture
Cleanliness has played a role in establishing cultural values in relation to social class, humanitarianism, and cultural imperialism
.
Cleanliness is linked with proper hygiene.
. A person who is said to be clean usually depicts cleanliness.
Smile Culture
