- - - - Some of the things that field workers should have pre-field: Biblical knowledge, Spiritual and psychological wholeness and health, resilience and hardiness, sources of stress in stages of cross- cultural service (knowledge of what these may be and able to handle them), issues to clarify and prepare for in dealing with other cultures
    - - This is being able to have open communication with those on the field and be able to provide accurate services from the home office/ sending church.
    - - Giving the right treatments once field workers return to their passport country. Having the debrief necessary and providing tools in getting back to their sense of "normal" once again.
