The chiefs administrator for a colony
They keep an eye for new ways to exploit colonies
Governor
A governor is someone who represents the king.
Looks after the colony
Coureur de Boris
meaning is runner of the woods
Men will find and trade with first nations
Even when individual trading was illegal but the Coureur de Boris was still running
Bishop
Was a big part of goverment
Made the first nations christian
Seigneurs
They are land-lords
Habitants will get owned by the seigneurs
Seigneurs used the Habitants for their work
Merchants
many merchants were blacksmiths, shoemakers, bakers etc
Will mostly sell furs to hopefully make money in France
They would trade with the Innu Ouedat and the Anishipe
