1687-Father Kino Finds a Native American compound at the base of A mountain (where Mission Gardens is now”
1700-Fathre Kino established the San Xavier Mission and San COsme Mission.
1880-The Chinese settle in Tucson with the creation of the Pacific Railway. They use there agricultural knowledge to grow crops, which they sell to the population. Without them, many in Tucson would have starved.
D 450–1450
The Hohokam lived and cultivated foods in modern day Downtown Tucson and under A Mountain. They cultivated foods but because of drought, flooding, and a large population. They vanished.
