Policy of appeasment
REASONS
:one: Britain adopted a policy of appeasement towards Hitler due to fear of having to fight another war. Settling peace with Germany would be beneficial as it would prevent Britain from being isolated and negotiating the Anglo-German naval Agreement.
:
:two: There were also a few more reasons apart from this, Britain supported Germany in destroying communism they were glad that Hitler was standing up to Communism.
:three:They did not want to repeat the horrors of the First World War where they lost many resources and people.
