        Help them cost it out - 'What will that cost?'
        
        What is your timeframe?
        
        See if they are a good fit - 'When do you want it by?'
        
        DO THEY FIT WHAT I'M DELIVERING? No need to persuade anyone, just find a fit
        
        How much is your pot?
      - In a 2 hour event, ONLY JOB? - collect business cards / contact details - spend only a few minutes with each person - at every event
      - At least 5 - 9 touch points, average - before people develop trust (doesn't matter what your reputation is, )
      - Collect contacts EVERYWHERE: 50% have money / 50% really hungry
    - - When? - on Mondays (not a weekend) because they have to take a holiday / plan their business around investor day
      - How often? - Begin once / quarter
      - Great way for new investors to meet old investors - nothing to hide
      - Screen for behaviour - so how they treat your assistant / team, other investors
      - Screen for £££ - show proof of funds
      - Have "What could go wrong?" conversation - be truthful, build trust - e.g. vendor pulls out, refurb more costly or lengthy than expected, end result not going to work - we refund reservation fee & we go again
      - How much? - £1,000 membership (they ask themselves, is this worth it?)
      - How to retain membership - could insist they must attend 4 investor days / year - stay engaged - or they lose their membership
      - Doesn't matter how much they say they have, they must come to you, play by your rules!
  - - - We supply the stock and provide a system which they pick the stock from.
      - Get rid - Let it fade or say 'It's been lovely meeting you but I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to meet your requirements.'
