providing health , education and employment and equitable distribution of resources.
All institutions are accountable to the political institution.
It supervises and resolves conflict s through its main agent , government .

Serving as an agent of social control of behavior
Promoting physical and psychological well-being
Motivating people to work for positive social change.
Education
1) Socialization: education enables individuals to learn to adjust in society.
2) Social and economic mobility: provides opportunity for socio economic mobility by training the youth for a better status in society.
3) Regulation of behavior: norms and values are learned through which behavior is cultivated.
4) Creating skilled workers: by providing education the society creates productive individuals to fulfill the needs of the society.
Economy
Functionalism emphasizes the importance of the economy for any society, and the income and self-fulfillment that work often provides which results in stability in the country.
For instance if a country has stable economy it will be able to provide a better academic life and proper health care facilities to all the citizens which will again carry out social order.
