        Furthermore, after conducting our research and gathering data from Quaardvark's query it was discovered that overall aves had a higher mass specific BMR in comparison to mammals which rejects my hypothesis that mammals would have a higher mass specific BMR. However, what i hypothesized wasn't all wrong, we rejected the second portion of my hypothesis, the first portion was proved to be correct in the terms of a higher body mass equates to a higher BMR. this can be seen in our figures included down below, this shows us that though aves have less body mass they burn more energy as shown in the data regarding mass specific BMR, in comparison to mammals. For our independent study i focused on the relationship between the body mass, temperature regulation and mass specific BMR from the class of rodentia and aves. The data we received from Quaardvark showed on average that rodents had a higher BMR but lower mass specific BMR in comparison to aves, thus having to make. us reject our hypothesis of rodents and aves having similar/ same mass specific BMR values due to their similar sizes and statures.
      - Conclusion
        
        To conclude, during this experiment we were able to research the correlations between body mass, BMR and mass specific BMR for the taxa's of rodentia, aves and mammalia. Once plotting and looking over the graphs and tests from the data we gathered we were able to compare and see on average higher mass equates to a higher BMR however, this isn't the case for mass specific BMR. Mass-specific BMR showed a negative correlation between the relationship of Body mass and mass-specific BMR, showing us that even if an animal has a higher mass it has a lower mass specific BMR as observed in the data from comparing mammals and aves. I rejected my hypothesis for my independent study due to the information found in my research comparing aves and rodents. Though i believed for them to have similar masses the data proved that on average some species in the rodentia taxa have higher BMR and masses than aves, however, on average aves had a higher mass specific BMR than the class of rodentia even though rodents have the ability to self regulate their temperature, this effect did not effect the results of the data it still showed aves having a higher mass-specific rate showing us that aves burn more energy one average in comparison to rodents and mammals.

        In this study, we will be conducting research on aves, mammals and rodents. We would like to check to see if there is a correlation between the relationship of the respective taxas of animals and their body mass, BMR and mass specific BMR. During our first initial findings we compared the relationship between aves average body mass, BMR and mass specific BMR. After obtaining the information from Quaardvark, we took the data and conducted graphs, scatter plots, standard deviations and t-tests. As seen there is a positive correlation between the taxas body mass and BMR. However, the correlation between the taxas mass specific BMR and body masses was a negative one. showing that in our findings even an animal with a smaller mass can have a higher mass specific BMR compared to another animals taxa that may have a higher body mass on average, we see this in our findings after conducting information on mammals and aves respectively and then comparing the two taxa to each other.
