Cell Theory
- Cells are the basic unit of life
Cells are alive and signify that an organism is alive. While the sub-cellular components in them are not alive.
- All living things are composed of cells
Viruses are not alive, therefore they don't have cells. Bacteria have cells, so they are living, same with animals
- Cells come from preexisting cells
Cells can be formed by division of preexisting cells. Binary fission, mitosis, meiosis.
