300 emigrants and 60 wagons
Group split, boulders, tooh longer than they should have, had to leave wagons and cattle.
Lost all their food supplies, got stuck in a snow storm and had to revert to cannibalism, people died of starvation.
Rescue parties had to go and find them
Sagar Party
Travelled from Missouri to Oregon in 1844
323 people and 72 wagons
