Book Recs (Book Smart) - Coggle Diagram

- - - - Search - search for books based on title and genres to make finding a book easier and quicker and they can find books based on what they feel like reading at the moment
      - Discover - discover books in the app's database, because if the user does not have a specific book in mind it may be easier to find books by going through the options. Discover screen is sorted into genres/categories for easy access can also order by book rating so the best rated books are first, or publish date, so newer books are first
      - Connect - user can connect with friends who use the app and see what books they have on their list. Should promote healthy competition and inspiration between friends to encourage reading, as high schoolers are impressionable and heavily influenced by friends
      - Profile - user has a profile which saves books they want to read and app settings, can add and remove friends
      - Book Info - if the book cover is clicked, it displays the title, author, rating, language, page count, price and book description.
      - My List - the user can save books to and view a read list of books to read later. This helps save time and decision making in picking a book, users are more likely to read something if they are not overwhelmed by choice and high schoolers can save books they've always wanted to read, but never had the time to as they are busy with school work

        myFriends: all the friends the user has and the book titles that the user's friends have in their read lists
        
        genres: after normalisation, all genres will go in a seperate table as there are multiple per book

        both have a book ID, even though books 2 doesn't have a column title, they both have the title, some form of rating, at least one author, the language, the page count
