The Ku Klux Klan returned. They were super patriotic.
The Klan denounced immigrants and Jews and Catholics as less than one hundred percent Americans.
As more immigrants came to the US, White Protestant started to think that they will lose their dominant position.
Film makers moved to Hollywood because it had the perfect illumination and landscapes to make goo scenes.
The movies became very popular, and many people watched them.
Women used short skirts and short hair in this decade.

White people were seen as superior, and Americans could not support any more immigrants.
America had a good economy since they were extending themselves to other countries and foreign investments.
It became common to be in debt and pay later things you bought. Now a days this took the form of debit cards.
The dollar replaced the pound as the most important currency for trade.
Many Americans worked thought a debt system and this meant that if the economy felled, they would fall with them.
Farmers started to lose many lands and money because they were not really needed anymore.
