Chemistry
Analyze and interpret data on the properties of substances before and after the substances interact to determine if a chemical reaction has occurred.
-
Vinegar + Baking soda is a chemical reaction because before they react vinegar is a liquid that is clear, and baking soda is a powdery solid, and when they combine, they bubble and emit heat, which is a clear chemical change.
Wood is a dry solid, and fire is pure heat, and these combine to make a new substance that is ash + smoke from that and you can't change that back, showing its a chemical reaction
