the guards started to behave cruelly
prisoners started to suffer emotional disturbances
the prisoners went home gradually but the first one stopped 36 hours after the beginning of the experiment
the study says that it is evident that people changed their atttude due to their social role and not their personality
however the BBC replicated the experiment in 2002 and had the opposite results
lacked mundane realism
