        (a) Government activities - 45 calendar days from date of shipment.
        (b) Commercial sources - 90 calendar days from date of shipment.
        
        RETENTION
        -Use the SDR Control Log, to keep track of outstanding SDRs(4400.1A, 4201.a)
        -Keep closed SDR case files for a period of two FYs AFTER the reply is received from the action activity. One file per yr(4400.1A para 4201.g)
