Soldiers and people were of Russia where unhappy with the state the country was in until Lenin, plus the communists overthrew the Romanov's and signed a treaty with Germany to leave the war.

USA entered the war: USA was neutral at first but 128 Americans died on a British boat that was sunk by Germany, the boat was called Lustina. A treaty between germany and Mexico was threatened. On April 6, 1917 the USA joined the war. In WW1, the president of the USA was Woodrow Wilson

German naval strike: No sailors to drive boats so the German navy was immobilised meaning that they did not have a navy to fight with because the Chancellor (Max von Baden) was not informed by Reinherdt Scheer about the attack meaning no soldiers were ready.

The Lundendorff offensive: The idea was to launch a string of attacks on the western front. All the other soldiers were worn out and America had a counter offensive and because most of the soldiers were tired they could not fight back.
