Wonderful king?

What makes a good king?

Lots of K's in Bible

Some good some not

God promised a special King

Waited .....

So long some forgot

Some wrong idea

Thought he'd be a mighty warrior, on a huge horse

Like a mighty general

Get rid of Romans

Rescue the Jews

But then Jesus came,

Healing people,

telling people to love

doing miracles

But dirt poor - nothing like a mighty general

And claiming to be king

He claimed to be the Messiah

For most Jews that meant a future king of Israel

But not placed there by politics

But by God

he was saying that in the future, when God establishes the kingdom once more, I myself will be the king of that kingdom
