more socioeconomically deprived groups have higher utilisation of GP services than those less deprived which is expected given their poorer health status
high level of hospitalisations for preventable conditions due to:

low health literacy
lack of access
not acting out primary prevention strategies

quality is the state of being equal, having the same rights, social status etc
