Principles of Constitution: The Constitution is defined by a number of fundamental enduring principles. Checks and balances, Federalism, and Separation of Powers.
Constitution: A body of fundamental principles or established precedents according to which a state or order organization is acknowledged to be governed.
Popular Sovereignty: A doctrine in political theory that government is created by and subject to the will of the people.
Federalism: A principle of government that defines the relationship between the central government at the national level and it's constituent units at the regional, state, or local levels.

Separation of Powers: Responsibilities, authorities, and powers are divided between groups rather than being centrally held.
Ratify: Is to sign or give formal consent to (a treaty, contract, or agreement) making it officially valid.
Checks and Balances: A system that allows each branch of government to amend or veto acts of another branch, to prevent any branch from exerting too much power.
Limited Government: The power of the government to intervene in the exercise of civil liberties is restricted by law, a written constitution.

Judicial Branch: The power of the supreme court, checks to see if bills and executive orders are "constitutional"

Government: Is the governing body of a nation, state, or community.
