Newtons Laws
First Law
An object stays at rest, an object in motion stays in motion WITH THE SAME SPEED AND DIRECTION unless acted upon by an unbalanced force

Free-Body Diagrams (FBD)
-
When balanced forces are in either direction the forces cancel each other out represented by two same sized arrows pointing in opposite directions
When an forces are unbalanced there is going to be a greater force in a different direction resulting in a net force which is the greater force subtracted by the lesser force resulting in the net force (shown by two arrows in opposite directions one bigger than the other)
-
Second Law
-
acceleration = change in motion, which is resisted by mass and are inversely proportional
-
-
-
Third Law
Whenever one object exerts a force on a second object, the second object exerts an equal and opposite force on the first object
For every action there is an equal reaction and action and reaction force always come in pairs, they are equal in strength but opposite in direction
