pughs plate
Size
The product should be a big enough size to encase all of the items within it comfortably for the deliveries
However, the vehicle size should be to a size where a single person is able to manoeuvre it on their own
-
weight
-
it should also be this heavy as it is not too heavy to carry and do maintenance work on, plus it would feel well made.
Maintenance
-
The maintenance of the vehicle would be the recharging, maybe changing the tyres of the vehicle every now and then and if a bulb goes out it can be replaced.
Customer
The product is designed for customers who have access to a mobile phone or tablet that is able to download an app which is used to order the food and put the robot to use
The product is also designed for the customer as the robot will have a tracker within it for the customer to be able to track where the robot is at all times.
Performance
The robot should be able to reach speeds of up to around 5-10 mph so that it will be fast enough to reach the destination in a timely manner, but slow enough to where it will not be a hazard to others
It should also be able to carry a large amount of food within it so that it can make multiple deliveries at once without having to pick new food up every single time. Maybe 2-4 kilos.
ecology
the vehicle should be made of recycled materials, or at least materials that are able to be recycled
The vehicle could be recharged via sustainable resources such as by using solar energy and others, plus the vehicle would be environmentally friendly as it is run electrically, therefore it will release no fumes out into the atmosphere.
Quantity
The amount of robots that are planned to be made in the beginning process is just one of them as a functional prototype to see if the idea is viable and works
if the delivery robot is a good idea and has a good success rate then it could be put into consideration for more of them to be created
