Competition helps us to know our abilities.

Competition helps us improve and analyze our progression. A competition could arise, in and with any situation, whether it be having a verbally spelling competition with a fellow classmate or it could be indirect competition which is most commonly present in the business world. Competition can increase motivation and improve productivity whether it be internally or externally. Competition is usually viewed as a negative interaction where one gains from it and one loses from it, but either way, competitors have a thing in common which is that both sides are able to present from their inspiration and the research they are able to get related to their topic, and the inspiration leads to their motivation of not stopping them from not stating their own opinions. When we lose a competition we don't entirely lose something but we gain something from it., losing a competition we learn how well and what wrong we did wrong while presenting; this helps us to analyze our progress further and helps us have gain more knowledge from it.

Competition can bring success to those who work hard. Many research shows that competition encourages students to work harder, and enhance their confidence. In the world of scholar's competition is a building block that transforms potential into success while in the busy world of ours, competition leads to innovation and new products.

People often say that competition creates winners and losers, and where the losers are often recognized as the 'not good enough ones' which leads them to perform in academics poorly and have their academic self-concept crushed. However, I do believe that competition helps us to know our abilities. Losing in a certain competition doesn't mean we lost because we don't have the same ability, but it's just that we see their abilities in a different way, and competition is much more complex than that. In some cases, the different abilities that we have help us do more than winning and helps us to boost our self-confidence. If likely, this misconception has been used in basketball games, then there would be no players by now.

In conclusion, competition may be one of the most contentious yet misunderstood topics in education. As people always states that, "Doesn't competition create winners and losers?" It is hard to know or to believe when it comes to competitions in education, it also provides a sidetracked benefit that we never noticed, which could helps us improve in many life time situations.

Did you ever get the feeling of being disappointed, frustrated, and discouraged when your little brother comes out of nowhere and wins a game? Well, if you haven't then I surely have, and let me be honest it didn't feel good at all, I mean by the words I have mentioned earlier you might or might not have guessed it. But did you know that competition actually is a success factor in our life? Shocking, right? I mean who would want to feel discouraged and threaten our own sense of self-confidence.

Competition helps us in many ways, it helps us to improve and analyze our progression, it can also bring success to those who work hard. Competition is important as it helps us to know our abilities and helps us to learn more from it.
