How to get
First, you take a plane or bus to Cusco, this depends on whether you have time or not. Then, already in Cusco you take a train to Aguas Calientes, here you board a bus that directly goes up to Machu Picchu.
If you go by plane it takes about 1 hour and a half. Then, in Cusco, the car that takes you to Machu Picchu lasts four hours.
