As per normal practice and Optimum solution, For AC filter banks (capacitors, Reactors, BPI, CT, disconnectors, resistors etc) isolated foundation were considered but during execution as Electrical inputs were delayed, to expedite construction works it was decided for Common slab (Record of agreement / Change management available?) which requires additional cost of 2 to 5 times- Not considered for further drill down as this was not due to wrong considerations during tender? to check with Electrical Tender lead

Delay in Schedule- To mitigate timelines it was decided to go with Common slab

Engineering inputs delayed for individual equipment's

No.of foundations increased (170 considered during tender and in actual it is coming to 259 equipment foundations)- To check if requirements was validated by Engineering during Tendering (to check as sold EA sheet/ Rohit / Shradha+ What are the foundation actually increased leading to this BDR

Additional works due to Site conditions to support constructability and erection activities. ( Extra work in rail cum road, rerouting of cable trenches, additional road works)

Rework at site due to Wrong considerations (in TCR yard (Near TCR reactor for BPI) equipment structures / foundations should be free from Magnetizing effect)- Ahmad/Ambuj

Area considered for gravel spreading was less than the actual area required (Value wise big contributor)

Increase in Control building size

Road length has increased from 825sq.m to 1103sq.m)

Fence length has increased from 550 to 616 sq.m)

Drain length has increased from 240 to 255sq.m

Cable trench has increased from 635 to 873m

PGCIL Changed the design of filter (7th Filter to 5th / 7th Filter) from what has been agreed during tender? and after initial drawings approval after raft casting in OCT'20 (No impact as it was decided to cast Raft. If individual foundations were taken in to consideration then there will be price escalation due to rework)
