1.语音的基本特征
FUNDAMENTAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE VOICE
声音是用来通过语音传递信息的工具
the voice is the instrument used to transmit messages by speech
i)音高 Pitch
ii)声量 Volume
iii) 范围 Range
iv)语气 Tone

It is controlled by the resonances in the throat, mouth and head.

It is important to cultivate a naturual tone

The average man’s speaking voice has a range from seven to eleven different full-toned pitches

2.交付质量
QUALITY OF DELIVERY
2.2 姿势Posture
a.不要采取任何吸引注意力并远离谈话的姿势、位置或动作
Don’t assume any posture, position, or movement which attracts attention to itself and away from the talk
b. 说话时不要坐下、倾斜或采取马虎的姿势
Don’t sit, lean, or assume a sloppy position while speaking
c.站直,但不要挺直
Stand straight, but not ramrod stiff
d.保持平衡和舒适,而不是摇马
Be well balanced and comfortable, not a rocking horse
e.至少每五或十分钟改变站立姿势,但不要在说话时
Change standing position at least each five or ten minutes, but not whilespeaking
f.将手保持在任何自然位置
Keep hands in any natural position
g.保持热情,但不要傲慢
Keep heat up, but not haughty
h.不要把头偏向任何一边,然后把它留在那里
Don’t cock head to either side and leave it there
2.3 眼神接触
Eye contact
a.全面了解每个学员,而不是快速浏览 Take a full personal look at each trainee rather than a quick glanc
i. 用眼神交流让每个学员觉得你是在直接和他说话
Use eye contact to make each trainee feel you are talking directly to him
ii. 用眼神交流检查课程进度
Use eye contact to check progress of lesson.
b.将联系人分发到房间的每个部分Distribute contact to every section in the room.
i.看着学员的眼睛,不要越过他们的头或耳朵
Look trainees in the eye, not over their heads or past an ear
ii.不要用呆滞的眼神盯着他们,看看他们
Don’t give them a glassy stare, see them
iii.看看大家 Look at everyone
iv.慢慢地扫视整个房间
Move glances slowly across the room
2.1语言 Language
b.使用学员熟悉的语言Use language that is familiar to the trainees.
c.在使用时解释新的技术术语Explain new technical terms when they are used. .
a. 清楚地说出单词并正确发音。
Enunciate words distinctly and pronounce them correctly.
d.使用各种中短句
Use a variety of sentences of short and medium length.
e.使用多样的、富有表现力的陈述。Use varied, expressive statements.
f.使用正确的语法
Use correct grammar.
h.避免脏话、俚语和口语,除非它们是专门针对特定时间和地点量身定制的避免使用胡须,无意义的词
Avoid word whiskers, meaningless words
g.避免脏话、俚语和口语,除非它们是专门针对特定时间和地点量身定制的。Avoid profanity, slang, and colloquialisms unless they are specifically tailored to a particular time and place
2.4手势
Gestures
a. 使用手势为演讲增添力量、兴趣、变化和清晰度
Use gestures to add power, interest, variation and clarity to speech.
i.表现出感觉或情绪
Show feeling or emotion
ii.显示动作
Show action
显示大小和形状 Show size and shape
给予指示 Given instruction
强调 Give emphasis
b. 将手势提升到“查看水平”之上
Lift gestures above the “see level”
c. Make them full and complete
使它们充实而完整
d. 使时间适合确切的词
Fit timing to the exact word

Make them with lively fingers.
