NOBLE GASES:
Are stable by themselves, this means they have their outer shell complete.
Valence electrons
The last energy layer.
The first layer of electrons can have just 2 electrons, the other can have up to 8 electrons if there are less than 8 or 2 it is an unstable atom, if it has 8 or 2 it is stable.
BONDING
IONIC BONDING
If a METAL has 2 electrons and a NONMETAL 6 the metal passes these 2 atoms to the non-metal, turning the non-metal into negative and the metal positive.
CONVALENT BONDING
non-metal and nonmetal they share the electrons if one has 7 and the other has 7 they share one electron each example H²O it means H+ O+H.
