HTTP
an acronym for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol is a system that is used to transmit and receive information from a server.
HTTPS
a secure transfer system that encrypts the data before the connection is formed for sending or retrieving the data from the server(also known as HTTP with secure socket layer(SSL)).
HTTPS is a secure version of the HTTP protocol that uses the SSL/TLS protocol for encryption and authentication
Instead of Hyper Text Transfer Protocol(HTTPS),certain website uses Hyper Text Transfer Protocol with Secure socket layer(HTTPS).
By using HTTPS, the computers agree on a "code" between them, and then they scramble the messages using that "code" so that no one in between can read them.
