ASSURE
There Are Six Steps :lock:
SELECT, MODIFY OR DESING MATERIALS
:unlock:
Teachers must decide method, media and materials. These three should complete each other and must fullfill students' needs. Showing students a video and giving worksheets about the video and answering questions can be an effective way.
STATE OBJECTIVES :unlock:
State objectives basically outlines the outcomes of the class at the end of the lesson. To examplify this: a little quiz or asking students some questions as to lesson would be enough.
ANALYZE LEARNER CHARACTERISTICS :unlock:
Teachers must analyze the classroom. They should evaluate students' knowledge, and what learning methods would work the best for them.
UTILIZE MATERIALS :unlock:
After designing the method, media, and materials, teachers also should be able to make a plan as to how to utilize these materials. For example, after studying vocabulary, a reading text which, includes those words can be read out loud so that students can learn how to use them in sentences.
REQUIRE LEARNER RESPONSE :unlock:
As well as designing materials and activities participation is also very important. Without being engaged in the class student will not be able to get efficiency as aimed. All these materials and methods are for students without their participation the effectiveness would be very low. Also seeing other students take place in class might encourage others too.
EVALUATION :unlock:
In this section, teachers not only evaluate students but also evaluate the effectiveness of the class. This will allow them to make conclusions and choose a path accordingly.
