For examle; In general characteristics section, teacher should know the grade levels, age, sex, mental and physical features of learners. In entry competiencies section, teacher should know background knowledge, skills and attitudes of learners. In last section of analyze stage (learning style), teacher should know whether students have visual, auditory, verbal or tactile.
Analyze Learners = It is the first stage of ASSURE. Teachers should know their students for effective teaching so they can manage to class quite ably. Heinich et al. state that "The audience can be analyzed in terms of (1) general characteristics, (2) specific entry cometencies (knowledge, skills, and attitudes about the topic), and (3) learning style"(p. 48).
