Things that interest me

Managing my ADHD

Writing in my planner as self-care

Overspending and always late to work, school, etc.

Simultaneously overwhelmed and exhausted a majority of the time

Being creative and spontaneous

Law of Attraction

Causes anxiety with the idea that we must have -constant- control of our thoughts

This shift to a growth mindset might make certain situations better/more positive than if you had a negative mindset.

Student Loans // Financial Aid

Not being able to receive financial aid because in order to be considered independent in the eyes of the board of education you must 24 ?

How can we persuade the board of education to change their protocol and allow more people to continue their learning?

Overwhelming fear that I'll be in debt for the rest of my life if I don't succeed in my career

Students not being able to receive higher education because they aren't a 'special case' or have families that do not support them

Internships

Not getting opportunities in the field that you're studying in because you don't have a degree

Not having time to take a unpaid internship because you're a financially independent student

Handshake and other apps claiming to be the best resource for finding internships but it's rare to receive a callback even after you've submitted hundreds of applications

What can we do to aid students in this process? What if they cannot afford to take time off work to get this kind of experience?

How can make these apps and programs more attractive to potential employers? Is it the software itself, does it compare to traditional recruiting websites, i.e. indeed/monster?
