Tyler says that anyone who has to design a curriculum will first have to go to three courses: students, society, and content requirements.

Dewey proposed that tradicional learning ocurred whrn the learner existed strictly in a listening eviroment.

Tyler mentions that each institution is subject to a philosophy and learning and that the objectives must be imbued in the right way.
Dewey remarked that the learner must always be active, an actor or participant in an ever-changing world.
