TYPES OF VISCOISTY
RELATIVE VISCOCITY : Refers to the ratio of the viscosity of a polymer solution to the viscosity of the solvent.
KINEMATIC VISCOCITY : It is a measure of a fluid's internal resistance to flow under gravitational forces.
-
NEWTON'S LAWS
Second law defines a force to be equal to change in momentum (mass times velocity) per change in time.
third law states that when two bodies interact, they apply forces to one another that are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.
First law states that if a body is at rest or moving at a constant speed in a straight line, it will remain at rest or keep moving in a straight line at constant speed unless it is acted upon by a force.
MECHANICS : Branch of physics that is concerned with the motion and deformation of bodies that acted upon by forces

FLUID TYPES
NEWTONIAN FLUIDS : Obeys Newton's law of viscocity, linear curver. [eg: Water, Alcohol]
NON NEWTONIAN FLUID : Does not obey Newton's law of viscocity. [eg: Toothpaste, butter].
TWO DIFFERENT FLOWS
TURBULENT FLOW : Flow in which the fluid undergoes irregular fluctuations, or mixing, in contrast to laminar flow, in which the fluid moves in smooth paths or layers. [Eg: blood flow in arteries, oil transport in pipelines].
LAMINAR FLOW : type of fluid (gas or liquid) flow in which the fluid travels smoothly or in regular paths. [Eg: blood flow]
NEWTON'S LAW OF VISCOSITY : Defines the relationship between shear stress and shear rate of a fluid subjected to mechanical forces.

-
HYSTERESIS LOOP : A hysteresis loop shows the relationship between the induced magnetic flux density B and the magnetizing force H.
BERNOULLI'S EQUATION : Expression relating pressure, height and velocity of a fluid at one point along its flow.
POISEUILLE'S EQUATION : Three primary factors that determine the resistance to blood flow with a single vessel. Vessel diameter (for radius), vessel length and viscocity of blood.POISEUILLE'S EQUATION : Three primary factors that determine the resistance to blood flow with a single vessel. Vessel diameter (for radius), vessel length and viscocity of blood.

LAW OF CONTINUITY : What ever succeeds the finite and also succeeds the infinte.
For eg, a fluid moving through a pipe obeys law of contuinuity.
A force is a push or pull upon an object resulting from the object's interaction with another object.
Units: newton(N)
