Importance
Without discrimination, individual employees would be given freedom and the belief that they can achieve and ascend in their careers without being held back by their race, religion, gender, disabilities etc.
People are negatively impacted by discrimination; not only does it impact their careers, it also impacts their mental health, self esteem, identity, and self-love.
Discrimination is insulting. People can be harmed, physically and mentally. People may suffer with a lack of money, unemployment, mistreatment, dirty looks, rejections from colleges and other life-altering consequences of discrimination.

Making fun of someone's cultural foods.
Making fun of people's accents.
Hateful speech against oppressed groups.
Denying someone healthcare due to race or gender.
