It is team's shared belief that it can organize and execute the behaviors necessary to reach its goals.

Members of a cohesive team are motivated to stay on the team, contribute as much as they can, and meet the team's standards.

To help reduce social loafing and encourage social facilitation, it seeks to keep team size small, clarify what the team expects each member to do, and make individual contributions to the team identifiable.
Roles
They define the behaviors and task each team member is expected to perform due to the position they hold.
Norms
Norms create expectations, set standards, and reflect the collective value of team members. Once formed, the rules are not easily changed.
High-Performing Teams
They have clear and challenging goals that all members are committed to, and create subgoals and milestones against which they measure themselves.
