Value
Past: Fair was a huge part of my life when I was younger, We would stay at the fairgrounds for the entire week without going home. It was a way for me to spend time with family and friends while learning the importance of hard work and dedication.
Present: Fair taught me the importance of putting in the work to get the best possible outcome, nothing is won overnight. It also taught me social skills because you become friends with everyone you meet at fair. I still use the basic life skills and values that fair has taught me every single day
Specific Values fair taught me: Kindness, Grit, Losing with grace, Winning with grace, Helping others, Leadership, and taking responsibility
Production
How? We would take the camper out of storage each year a week before fair and then we would all help clean it and get it ready for the fair week
Who? My mom would do the majority of the cleaning but my sisters and I would always help. and then my dad would take care of driving it to the fair and getting it to our spot and hooking it up to electricity and water.
Customs or rituals
The fair kids would always have some type of water fight during the week.
My mom used to only let us ride the rides on Friday, It was our celebration day to recognize all our hard work paying off.
The overall grand champion pig winner always buys everyone in the club dinner and we would turn it into a potluck that were always so fun.
Fiskie fries are a must at least once during the week. They are the best fries you will ever eat. We would usually get them as a reward for doing well with our animals

History of the camper
we bought that camper when I was very young, Just old enough to still have snippets of a memory of when we went to purchase it. It was an old camper that provided us with only what we needed, nothing more.
